DANP Background
Established on May 15, 2017, originally as a Facebook Group named "Deaf People Accessibility in the Philippines," and now known as the Deaf Accessibility Network of the Philippines (DANP), our organization began as an initiative driven by our core team. Through social media and digital platforms, we strive to enhance accessibility by sharing valuable information and engaging in meaningful activities. Our work highlights the vital role of media and technology in Filipino Sign Language.
Deaf People Accessibility in the Philippines (DPAP) was the first purpose: The Deaf community may discuss access and human rights of Deaf people. Chuck | Chaokas Ben Odsey established the DPAP Group (which is not an NGO/NPO) and created a Facebook group for all Deaf individuals.
